Day 1-Nairobi/Samburu

You travel to Kenya’s northern frontier to the wild and rugged Samburu National Reserve, especially famous for the cats. Dinner and overnight atSamburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 2 -Samburu

You spend the day exploring the park with over 365 species of birds and over 50 species of wild animals identified. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 -Samburu/Lake Baringo

You head for Lake Baringo, a fresh water lake and with its picturesque islands and encircling mountains, a spectacular sight. Overnight at Tumbili Cliff Lodge.

Day 4 -Lake Baringo

You spend the day at the birders’ paradise, known for breeding more Goliath herons than anywhere else in East Africa. Bird walks and boat rides are the most popular activities around Lake Baringo. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5 -Lake Baringo/Kakamega

Proceed to Kakamega forest, where you spend an afternoon exploring the forest on foot with a local naturalist as a guide.  Dinner and overnight at Rondo Retreat Center.

Day 6 -Kakamega Forest Reserve

You explore Kakamega forest, the remains of once natural rain forest extended from Guinea – Congo Area across Africa.  Several species of primates and over 300 species of birds are found here.  All meals and overnight the lodge.

Day 7 -Kakamega/Masai Mara

You head to the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at Mara Trails Camp.

Day 8 & 9 -Masai Mara

Full days spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5 among other game. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 10 -Masai Mara/Naivasha

You depart for Naivasha at leisure to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon spent at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Day 11 –Naivasha

You spend the days exploring the lake region with optional activities such as a boat ride at the lake to view the Hippos and the birds/ visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, smallest National Park in Kenya/visit to crater lake/visit to Crescent Island among others. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12 -Naivasha/Nairobi

Depart for Nairobi at leisure; drop off atyour hotel.
